Built on Experience, Not Trends

Omni Pools & Scapes was founded by Amy and Jason Craycraft, industry veterans with nearly 30 years of hands-on construction and outdoor living experience. From the very beginning, Omni was built on a belief that quality, education, and integrity matter more than shortcuts or hype.

Long before Omni Pools & Scapes existed by name, its foundation was being formed through large-scale concrete work, complex project management, and nationally recognized craftsmanship. Jason’s early career overseeing millions of square feet of concrete installations—and earning certifications such as ACI, ICPI, OSHA Safety, CPO, and CPB—set a technical standard that still defines Omni projects today. Many of those early projects continue to be used by manufacturers for training and education across the industry.

Learning Through Cycles—and Emerging Stronger

Like every long-standing construction company, Omni has navigated multiple market cycles. During the housing market crash of 2008, the business didn’t retreat—it adapted. That period became a proving ground, refining Omni’s focus on high-end residential hardscapes, premium materials, and disciplined operations.

Years later, during the COVID-era construction boom, Omni experienced rapid growth alongside the rest of the industry. But growth at scale comes with lessons. Supply chain disruptions, labor challenges, and an influx of inexperienced competitors forced the entire pool industry into unfamiliar territory.

Omni chose to treat that period as an education—not an exception.

Today, Omni is one of the few companies still consistently installing pools post-COVID, not because of luck, but because of what was learned through trial, error, and honest self-evaluation. Systems were tightened. Processes improved. Training became more rigorous. Decisions became more intentional.

We didn’t just survive the boom—we grew wiser because of it.

In 2017, Omni identified a major gap in the market: homeowners were overwhelmed by juggling multiple contractors for pools, hardscapes, landscaping, and project coordination.

Omni Pools & Scapes was launched to solve that problem.

As one of the first companies in Central Ohio to offer fully integrated, design-build outdoor living, Omni brought everything under one roof—design, engineering, construction, and project management. The result? Better communication, clearer timelines, higher accountability, and a dramatically improved client experience.
