Regular pool maintenance keeps the chemicals at their proper levels and water quality high. Occasionally, however, something can go wrong with the mechanical components of your pool. Omni Pools & Scapes provides pool repair in Columbus and the surrounding areas.

Our Full Range of Pool Maintenance & Repair Services

Your swimming pool is designed to provide decades of healthy family fun. To keep it functioning as it should, you will need to maintain a regular maintenance schedule. Occasionally, it might also need some repairs.

Our Omni Pools & Scapes specialists are highly experienced in diagnosing and repairing just about any issue related to a swimming pool. Our Columbus, Ohio customers find that their repair services tend to fall into three main categories:

Pool Liner Repair and Replacement

Is your pool liner showing signs of wear, fading, or leaks? We specialize in pool liner repair and replacement to restore the beauty and functionality of your pool. Whether it's a small tear or a complete liner replacement, our expereineced team will ensure a seamless, long-lasting solution.

Signs you may need a pool liner replacement:

  • Visible cracks, tears, or punctures
  • Fading or discoloration from sun and chemicals
  • Wrinkling or stretching of the liner
  • Water loss or difficulty maintaing water levels
  • Liner pulling away from the pool walls or track

Maintaining and Repairing the Pool Pump

The pool pump is what keeps the water flowing through the pool’s filter and skimmer and into the pool itself. One common sign that the pool pump might have a problem is that it might begin making a low grinding sound. Or you might notice that the pool water looks cloudy. If you check the pressure gauge and you see that it is below 12 psi, that could also indicate a problem.

During your regular maintenance checks, your pool professional will check the pool pump. You can ask him or her to show you how to prime your pump; sometimes when it is making a strange sound, it is because too much air has gotten into the line. Removing that air can solve the problem.

If you find yourself needing to prime the pump frequently or if priming the pump does not solve the problem within a minute or so, you might need a repair. Give us a call promptly if this happens to avoid damage to your system and to get your pool up and running as soon as possible.

Leaks and Plumbing Issues

Water loss (which is sometimes small enough to go undetected for a long period of time), a higher usage of water and a higher water bill if you have an automatic filling system, soggy ground around the pool, or a pool deck that is either lifting or sinking are all signs that you could have a water leak.

This is a potentially serious situation because left unchecked, the leak can cause damage underneath the pool and might even damage the concrete.

Leaks can occur in the structure or shell or in the pool plumbing itself. The leak might be small or large. If you suspect a leak, try turning off the pump for a short period of time and see if it continues leaking. If so, it is likely the structure of the pool. If the leaking stops, that is an indication that you have a leak in the plumbing.

Either way, Omni Pools & Scapes can help. Contact us to schedule an appointment for one of our specialists to go to your house to diagnose and treat the problem.

Pool Heater Repairs

If you have a pool heater and you notice that the water is suddenly not as warm as it should be or if it is very cold, you likely need a heater repair. Sometimes it is the heater itself and sometimes it is the thermostat that is the issue. Your pool repair company will be able to get to the bottom of the problem and get your pool water back to the right temperature for your family’s comfort and enjoyment.

Remember, keeping up with your pool maintenance is something that Omni Pools & Scapes can handle for you. We can come once per week or once every two weeks to check on all of the components in addition to keeping your pool chemicals at the right level, cleaning the pool, and making sure it is a safe and comfortable place for your family to spend their summer.
